Requirements


Grade 12 Certificate: Applicants must possess a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.

Code 8 Driver's Licence: A valid Code 8 driver's license is a prerequisite for this position.

Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit and capable of undertaking demanding tasks.

Clean Criminal Record: A clean criminal record is essential, with verification conducted by SAPS.

Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of geysers, tiling, painting, air conditioning, and refrigeration is preferred.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, is required.


Responsibilities


Civil Building Maintenance: Assist in managing civil building maintenance according to established procedures.

Technical Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve technical issues as they arise.

General Administration: Maintain records, including timesheets, logbooks, and reports.

Plant Operations: Operate waste-water purification and water purification plants.

Contractor Oversight: Monitor contractors' activities on camp sites and infield.

Infrastructure Maintenance: Contribute to the upkeep of fences, water points, roads, and other infrastructure.

Asset Management: Assist in maintaining and managing park assets.

Occupational Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Vehicle and Workplace Inspections: Conduct inspections of vehicles and work areas.


Please Note


Successful candidates will be provided with a housing allowance and may be required to work weekends and public holidays. Preference will be given to individuals with prior general working experience. Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.


Salary and Grade


The salary for this position ranges from R123,884.89 to R165,767.11, with a Paterson Grade of A3.
